Thing: A Beauty of Matter
What is a thing?
Curiosity, as a matter of fact.
What makes a thing alive?
Your thoughts, perhaps.
All the stirs of these things and yet,
not a single certainty to what a thing truly is
Surely, a thing matters just as much as You and I?
For a thing fills the void,
the indescribable parts of sheer truth
A thing is as needed just as much as You and I
For a thing is a beauty of matter

A place of belonging
Of all the things in the world
You exist
The Butterflies in the summer daze
The earthworms in the ground
The humming of the birds
In the midst of all the motion
back and forth
You exist
To a place called home
existence is but a trace of you

The longing until tomorrow
It’s quiet,
but not the peaceful kind
It’s dreadful, weary, and dull
One that persists for minutes too long
My mind drifts afar,
begging for some rest
But until the night comes to an end
The longing of tomorrow continues
